Radio technology refers to the technology that is concerned with the use of radio waves to carry information. Radio systems operate by using a combination of a transmitter, an antenna and a receiver. The electromagnetic energy generated propagates in space, and is subject to reflection, refraction or diffraction. It is intercepted by a receiving antenna and then demodulated at the receiver.
